Some documents, notably The Priority and some posters, are stored on our web site as "pdf files". This allows more convenient control over the layout of the documents, especially if they were originally intended to be viewed as paper documents, means that the amount of data to be transferred is smaller, and also allows you to save copies of these documents on your own computer and view them again later without having to connect to the internet.
"pdf files" use a very standard format, and are viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader, and on most computer systems this is already installed, and will run automatically when you left click with the mouse on the link on the web page, so that the information is viewed just like any other type of information on the web site. On some systems you are given the option to save the data rather than viewing it - if this is the case, then you specify a file where the data will be stored on your local computer in the usual way, and that file can then be opened again later by running Adobe Acrobat Rader and opening that file, or in most cases by just double clicking on the file name. If you aren't given the save option when you left click the link, and you would like to save it, try right clicking with the mouse.
Unfortunately some recent alternative web browsers, such as Firefox, simply give a blank screen when the pdf file links are left clicked - the usual Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser does not have this problem. If this happens, use the right mouse click and save the file, then open it afterwards with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer, it can be downloaded for free from the Adobe web site.

use pdf files for some documents, send your email to:

leave out the spaces and replace the word AT with the @ character!!)
