Although Priory Park is not very large, and is close to the centre of Dudley, it is also close to the woodland on Dudley Zoo and the Wrens Nest, so a reasonable number and variety of animals and birds can be seen.
The Lily Pond
FoPP member Tony C has been investigating the Lily Pond (April 2006)
and has provided these superb photos.

More of Tony's pictures can be found at http://www.callear.net/priorypark.html.

Look out for Blackcaps and Goldcrests - I have not seen any in the park, but I have been visited by both in my garden in 2004, only 100m from the park. Buzzards have been seen circling over the woods on the zoo, only a couple of hundred metres from the park.
