Weights of half frame cameras

All cameras were weighed without film, filters or straps. In the case of cameras which can only be used with batteries, these were included. The SLR cameras were fitted with the standard lenses. Manufacturers’ claimed weights are shown in brackets.

Most Pen cameras that take 22.5 screw will also take 43.5 screw.

Some half-frame cameras have no provision for screw or push on filters, ie Konica AA-35, Canon Sure Shot Multi Tele, Fuji TW-3 etc.

The Ricoh Auto Half and Ricoh Auto Half SE2, etc take special rectangular shaped filters and lens caps.

Use of the special filter holder for compact and digital (spit, spit) cameras, which fits via the tripod screw, may be of use on some cameras. This holder is made by S.R.B. 286 Leagrave Road, Luton, Beds LU3 1RB. Price £22-95.
